The financial employee Dmitry Gorin expects the position of the manager of branch of a savings bank. But, due to a misunderstanding, once he issues too large sum of money to the person who works in taiga as the builder of the power line Siberia-Urals. To correct this error, Dmitry goes to taiga. And having put everything in order, he doesn't hurry to return to Moskva. The matter is that he opens for himself a new life which he likes and meets the girl of whom he dreamed.

Главного героя — финансового служащего Дмитрия Горина — ожидает должность заведующего филиалом сберкассы. Но по недоразумению однажды он выдаёт слишком большую сумму денег человеку, который работает в тайге строителем ЛЭП «Сибирь — Урал». Чтобы исправить ошибку, Дмитрий отправляется в тайгу. А приведя всё в полный порядок, не торопится возвращаться в Москву. Дело в том, что он открывает для себя новую жизнь, которая ему по душе, и встречает девушку, о которой мечтал.
