  • In the city of Murom lived Ivan and Yefrosinya, husband and wife. They had a son, Ilya. Almost thirty years he suffered from illness - he could not move his arms or legs. The war began. Passed by the house three elders, looking for warriors, cured Ilya and rewarded him with heroic strength. In gratitude to them, Ilya Muromets went to war.
