A boy named Aleksey Solnishkin dreams of becoming a sailor, but he is not taken to the naval school, because he is "small". But the kid is noticed by an old sailor nicknamed Robinson and suggests to go with him to the real voyage. Solnishkin agrees. Suddenly, a storm begins. Solnyshkin and Robinson take refuge in the house of the latter. Going inside, friends are waiting for the end of the storm.
