  • The film is based on the Belarusian folk tale. The boy's mother found him under a bush with a whistle in his hands and brought home, and he was so throaty that only a whistle in his mouth and soothing. And the boy grew up an excellent musician, and as soon as he started playing on his pipe or a squeak, everyone immediately started dancing.
