В зимний день маленькая девочка каталась в лесу на лыжах. Ей повстречались два зайца. Им было очень холодно. Девочка дала им свой тёплый платочек, и зайцы согрелись. Пришла девочка домой, а мать спрашивает : «А где платок ?». Узнав, послала снова дочь в лес и дала с собой пирожок. Повстречав лисицу, охотившуюся на зайцев, девочка отдала пирожок ей.

On a winter day, a little girl skied in the woods. She met two hares. They were very cold. The girl gave them her warm handkerchief, and the hares warmed up. The girl came home, and the mother asked : "Where is the handkerchief ?". Upon learning, she sent her daughter back to the forest and gave her a pie. Having met the fox hunting for hares, the girl gave the pie to her.
