In an interview, director Arunas Žebriūnas says he has not managed to translate all the subtitles of the Little Prince into cinematic language and to be satisfied with only a few sequences of his film. The performance of the title role by six-year-old Evaldas Mikaliūnas is receiving positive reviews, but the film, although it brought together confirmed talents like Donatas Banionis and Otar Koberidzė, did not impress the critics.
